WELCOME TO CAPITAL CITY KIDS!
We believe that kids matter. Capital City Kids ministry is part of our age-graded strategy to impact the next generation with the truth of the Gospel. Building on the foundations established in our Preschool Ministry, our Kids Ministry will strive to continue to invest in the lives of kids and families. The greatest impact that we can have comes when the church and the home partner together to combine the influences they have on kids. We hope to see the kids of Capital City grow to be disciples of Jesus who make more disciples of Jesus.
Safety and Worker Training
The safety of your children is our top priority at Capital City. All workers are required to undergo a background check, interview and a yearly training / policy meeting, to help our kids ministry provide a safe environment for children.
Kids Sundays
10:00 am – Sunday School
11:00 pm – Capital City Kids Church
6:00 pm – Kids K’Nect (ages 4-6th grade)
Kids Wednesday
7:00 pm – Gopher Buddies
Gopher Buddies is for 4-5 years old and meets Wednesdays throughout the school year at 7pm.
Lessons teach foundational truths of Scripture so that children, ages 4-6, can begin to develop a basic understanding of Scripture. Every lesson includes parent resources to encourage meaningful follow-up between parents and their children.
Gopher Buddies also has an age appropriate daily devotion designed to help children build the habit of daily Bible reading and prayer. This resource allowsparents to take an active role in their child’s spiritual development each day.
7:00 pm – Olympians
Olympians is for children in 1st-6th grade and meets Wednesdays throughout the school year at 7pm.
Our Olympian club focuses on FORMING ESSENTIAL SPIRITUAL HABITS
Envisioning the Christian life as a race, our Olympian program features the Olympic theme and urges children to “go for the gold” in their pursuit of godliness. We provide the resources, training and encouragement for leaders to guide children in forming essential spiritual habits. Parent resources are also built in to help parents take a step into true discipleship with their own children. This is done with 4 major elements as each child works towards awards and “go for the gold.”
- The Bible
A series of lessons to teach key truths of the Bible while also drawing specific events and people into the overall arc of the Gospel to show that the Bible truly is one story
- Quiet Time Daily Devotional
An age-appropriate daily devotional designed to help children build the habit of listening to God through daily Bible reading, application of Bible truths, and prayer.
- Scripture Memory
Carefully selected Scripture verses packaged to help students connect truths of the Bible to their daily lives
- Service
Ideas are suggested to help your children use their gifts and talents for the Lord and to discover the joy of serving others.

Every Wednesday night, during the school year, we have age appropriate classes for each level from 4years - 6th grade. For more information about each division click above on the appropriate grade level. Don't miss our Student page for our 7th - 12 grade class.

Kids Friday Fun Night is a action packed activity we offer for parents to bring their kiddos to enjoy a great time while YOU the parents take this time to enjoy a date night, grocery shopping (kid free) or just some quiet time alone. Kiddos will enjoy fun games, activities, a devotion as well as supper with friends in a safe environment. However you choose to spend your time your kid(s) will be sure to have a blast.
