Welcome to Capital City Baptist Church, a thriving community of believers located in Columbia, SC. Since 1979, we have been dedicated to ministering to our community, providing a nurturing environment where individuals and families can grow in their faith and find meaningful connections.
Meet the Pastor
Bryan Hunt has dedicated over 16 years to Capital City Baptist Church as youth pastor, passionately leading young individuals to Christ and teaching them about the love of Jesus. Recently transitioning to the role of senior pastor, Bryan is excited to continue his service to both the church and the community. He believes in fostering strong connections and inspiring growth through faith, compassion, and outreach.

Our church offers a wide range of support and ministries designed to meet the needs of our diverse congregation. From Capital City Kids, which provide a safe and loving foundation for young children, to our teen peer ministries that foster growth and fellowship among our youth, we strive to serve all ages.

In addition to youth programs, we offer addiction recovery support and practical discipline guidance, ensuring that every member of our community is cared for and valued. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope and a source of strength for all who walk through our doors.
